Functional Materials and Nanotechnologies FM&NT-2020

With over 150 oral and poster presentations we hope to have three exciting days!

The health of the participants is the most important issue for FM&NT-2020 or­ganizers. Recent growth of COVID-19 cases in the Europe and in Lithuania should shortly result into further travel and meeting restrictions, therefore FM&NT-2020 organizing committee has made a final decision to organize the conference completely online.

Important information:

We are working to hold the FM&NT-2020 conference as planned in Vilnius, Lithuania, on November 23 – 26, 2020.

Having taken into account the everyday changing COVID-19 pandemic situation regarding travelling and meeting safety requirements, we have decided to include remote online participation option: along with usual talks, conference will include synchronous (live) remote oral presentations  which will be broadcasted to the audience and other registered online participants in real time. Virtual poster session will be organized as well.

Therefore, we have included new reduced rates (50 Eur) for remote participation. If You would like to participate remotely at the FM&NT-2020 conference, please use “online” option for registration at:

The deadline for online participation registration is October 15, 2020.

Having taken the Lithuanian Government’s decisions regarding pandemic situation into account, we have decided to organize the international conference Functional Materials and Nanotechnologies (FM&NT-2020) this year.

FM&NT-2020 will be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on November 23 – 26, 2020.

Therefore, the new important dates are as follows:

• Abstract submission deadline is extended till 15 September 2020. New or corrected abstracts can be uploaded;
• If You have already submitted an abstract, but won‘t be able to attend the conference in November, please inform us in advance by e-mail fmnt@ff.vu.lt;
• Conference program will be available on 30 September 2020;
• Early-bird registration is extended till 15 October 2020.

We hope to see everyone in Vilnius in November!

A special announcement regarding the situation of coronavirus COVID-19 spreading

FM&NT-2020 conference is postponed

Dear Colleagues,

FM&NT-2020 organizers are greatly concerned about the developing situation with the rapid worldwide spread of coronavirus COVID-19. Yesterday both Lithuanian government and Vilnius University announced the directions to cancel or postpone the planned public activities till the end of April 2020, not to go abroad without an urgency, etc.

Since our primary choice is the safety of participants of FM&NT-2020, we decided to postpone the conference as well. Now we are stopping the registration, hotel booking, etc. We will follow the situation with coronavirus and inform all the participants when it will be possible to resume. We would like to assure all the people who have sent abstracts to FM&NT-2020 or already registered, that no one will be forgotten and any information you sent to us will remain safe and secure.
